Welcome to PJM Photo. By visiting this website or purchasing artwork through it, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About This Site
This website is owned and operated by PJM Photography, LLC, doing business as PJM Photo (“PJM Photo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept those changes.
2. Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use any content from the site without permission.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase through this site.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to display artwork, sizing, and colors as accurately as possible. Because screen settings vary, we cannot guarantee that colors and details will appear exactly the same on every device.
Many works sold through PJM Photo are handmade or produced in small batches. Cyanotypes in particular may include natural variation in tone, edges, texture, brushmarks, and other details that are part of the process and part of what makes each piece unique. These variations are not defects.
Availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct errors in product listings, descriptions, pricing, and availability at any time.
4. Orders and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. Payment is due at the time of purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including pricing errors, suspected fraud, product unavailability, or issues identified during payment processing. If an order is canceled after payment has been submitted, any amount charged will be refunded.
Applicable sales tax will be collected where required.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Timing may vary depending on the nature of the work, whether a piece is already completed, production time, weather-related cyanotype scheduling, framing coordination, carrier delays, and destination.
Buyers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses submitted at checkout.
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.
6. Returns, Exchanges, and Damaged Items
Because artwork is often made to order, printed to order, or one of a kind, all sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing preferences, framing preferences, or minor color differences caused by screen display.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us promptly at paula@pjmphoto.com and include your order number, photos of the item, photos of the packaging, and photos of the shipping label. Claims for damage must be made within 5 days of delivery.
We handle damage issues in good faith on a case-by-case basis and may, at our discretion, offer a replacement, repair, store credit, or other appropriate resolution.
7. Custom Orders and Commissions
Custom orders and commissions are subject to separate approval and may require additional lead time, a separate invoice, and specific written terms.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits for custom work are non-refundable once work has begun. Because custom and commissioned pieces are created specifically for the buyer, they are final sale.
We retain the right to decline a commission request at our discretion.
8. Framing and Third-Party Services
If we provide framing suggestions, shipping assistance, or coordination with a third-party framer or service provider, we do so as a courtesy. We are not responsible for the work, timing, policies, or outcomes of third-party providers.
9. Intellectual Property
All photographs, cyanotypes, artwork, images, text, designs, graphics, logos, and other content on this site are the property of PJM Photo unless otherwise noted and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
No content from this site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
The purchase of artwork does not transfer copyright. Copyright and all reproduction rights remain with PJM Photo. Artwork may not be reproduced, scanned, copied, licensed, published, or used commercially without prior written consent.
10. User Submissions and Communications
If you contact us, submit an inquiry, leave a comment, send an email, or otherwise communicate with us, you grant us the right to use that communication as needed to respond, provide customer service, or operate the business.
Please do not send unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content through this site or through any communications with us.
We will handle personal information you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Email List and Marketing
If you subscribe to our email list, you agree to receive occasional emails from PJM Photo about new work, studio notes, releases, and related updates. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us at paula@pjmphoto.com.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PJM Photo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this site or your purchase of products from it.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase through this site shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PJM Photo from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
